About

President University Major Association of Information Systems is a unifying organization for all students registered in the Information Systems Study Program at President University, which was later shortened to PUMA Information System (IS).

Logo Philosophy

  • Black Circle: Represents diversity and togetherness, with black symbolizing Computing characteristics.
  • Letters I and S Blocks: Reflect "Information System" formed from several connected blocks.
  • Orange & Blue Blocks: Orange for Business, Blue for Technology — highlighting the IS combination.
  • Two White Blocks: Represent collaboration between PUMA IS and other organizations in the Faculty of Computing.
  • Circuit: Represents unity among diverse individuals. The diamond shape in the center symbolizes strength, eternity, and love.

DIVISIONS

Board of Director

The Board of Directors (BoD) represents the top tier, and is comprised of the Chairperson, two Vice Chairpersons, Head of Secretariat, two Secretariat Members, Head of Treasury, and one Treasury Member.

Relationship Management

This division organizes activities and events both on and off campus to foster and strengthen relationships among students, between students and lecturers, students with alumni, other campuses, and companies.

Sport and Art

This division provides a space for IS students to enjoy non-academic activities like sports, e-sports, music, and more. It's all about letting students explore their interests, connect with others, and have a great time outside of their regular studies.

Communication

Manages our social media on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, hosts events as MCs, provides live reports, manages sounding for systemites.

Research and Development

The division focuses on helping students learn more about their subjects and develop their skills. They plan activities to make the organization more productive and encourage teamwork. They also help members grow professionally to make the organization stronger. The division finds out what students are good at and helps them join competitions to show their skills, aiming to make students excellent in what they do.

Multimedia, Design and Documentation

Manages the design for our social media on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, become a documenter in PUMA’S Event and designs content templates for social media, also produce our wall magazine, ensuring it’s engaging and informative.

Making the PUMA Information System a forum for self-development so that they can compete and excel in soft skills and hard skills, creating PUMA and students who are independent, innovative, responsible in information technology and business, and have a positive impact on President University and society.
