About

PUMA Informatics (HIMA) is an organization that unites all students in the informatics programs at President University, aiming to develop both soft and hard skills. Our vision is to be a hub of independent aspirations and creativity, characterized by autonomy, quality, and achievement, with a focus on science and technology. We strive to create a positive image, support skill enhancement, and foster strong relationships among students, faculty, and external institutions. Additionally, we provide a platform for IT students to share ideas and express their aspirations.

Letter C, IT, and Circuits

This logo reflects the identity of PUMA Informatics under the Computer Science faculty. By using elements such as the letter C, IT, and circuits, this logo depicts the attachment, diversity, and unity within PUMA Informatics.

DIVISIONS

Board of Director

is a representative of the executive division, which consists of by the chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary, and treasurer.

External Relation

External Relation has own role in PUMA IT which is as a bridge between PUMA IT and all kind of external parties. This division organize activities or events related to external parties. This division build relationships with the community, other campus and companies.

Internal Relation

This division has the main task of strengthening the relationship between students and students, students and lecturers, and students and alumni.

Research and Technology

Research and Technology (RnT) is a division in charge of developing creative ideas in the field of technology and sharing knowledge in the field of technology which aims to develop human resources, especially students within the campus itself.

STUDENT ACADEMIC & COMPETITION

Student Academic and Competition (SAC) is a division that focuses on developing the capacity and quality of Informatics Students through academics, including discussion forums, scholarships, and competitions, and serves as a platform to appreciate all the achievements that Informatics Students have attained at the end of the semester (final project).

HUMAN RESOURCE & DEVELOPMENT

Human Resource and Development (HRD) is a student division responsible for recruiting, supervising, and developing the potential of human resources among Informatics students.

Informative Creative Media

Informative Creative Media(ICM) is divided into 2 sub-division which are MINFO and CREMA. Media Information (Minfo) division is a sub-division from Information and Creative MEDIA (ICM) that handles PUMA Informatics social media such as Instagram, Linkedln, WhatsApp, TikTok and youtube. Creative Media (Crema) division is responsible to in charge of creating and editing templates content to be posted on social media PUMA Informatics.

Student Passion Talent

Student Passions and Talents (SPT) is a division that focuses on developing interests and nurturing passions and talents within the Informatics sphere. This division is also in charge of organizing activities related to both passions and talents, providing Informatics students with a place to channel their non-academic potential.

Technopreneur

Technopreneur focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills by managing an online store offering informatics products and services with effective marketing strategies. It also provides website creation and online store management services to support PUMA Informatics programs.
